Convolute Wheels are composed of the same high quality
surface conditioning base material as the belts and discs.
Thin layers of non-woven material are wrapped around a core
to make the wheels. Our wheels operate at lower temperatures
and have a higher resistance to loading and tearing.
Convolute Wheels are categorized into Deburring, Multi
Finishing, and Metal Finishing. Typical work surfaces
include stainless steel, titanium, aluminum, alloys, steel,
plastic, and composite materials.

Wheels
for removing
light burrs, blending blemishes, & finishing prior to
polishing or final finishing

Multi-Finishing Wheels
for
satin and cosmetic finishing; uniform and brushed
finishing; and final finishing

Metal
Finishing Wheels
for
uniform distinct satin, cosmetic, brushed, and antique
finishes. Blend machine tool marks and apply final
finishes. Blend coated abrasive scratches while applying
a burr-free finish

Deburring Wheels
Recommended for removing light burrs, blending machine and belt
marks, and finishing prior to polishing or final finishing.
Benefits: consistent finish, long life, accommodates sharp edges,
high stock removal. Available in different densities from 7 (softer)
to 9 (harder). 8SF-R is more rigid which increases the cutting
action but reduces conformability and control.
Multi-Finishing Wheels
Recommended for satin and cosmetic finishing; uniform and brushed
finishing; and final finishing. Benefits: extremely consistent
finish, conformability, long life, cooler operating temperatures.
Metal Finishing Wheels
Recommended for uniform distinct satin, cosmetic, brushed, and
antique finishes. Blend machine tool marks and apply final finishes.
Blend coated abrasive scratches while applying a burr-free finish.
Benefits: uniform finishing and light deburring without changing
dimensions of workpiece, consistent finish, conformability, long
life, cooler operating temperatures.
